Once you're on top of the wall, the camera should pan to show you a cannon underwater.ĭrop down to the cannon and stand on top of it to tilt the barrel up and down. With the waters flooding the room, a large barrel to the east floats up, giving you a platform from which to jump over the wall at the far side of the room. With the enemy defeated, backtrack further through the hall with the bamboo spears and to the room with the false item chests (to the south). Alternatively, you can use Rao's Prayer Slips as attacks, though you'll have to swing the camera down towards the surface of the water to get the greenish-black smoke required to trigger the Prayer Slips. Use Power Slashes to break away the shark's armor and continue with Power Slash attacks to deal damage. After that, backtrack to the previous room with the pile of bones and you'll encounter Jiro and Saburo who this time fuse to form Ichiro, a large shark. Before leaving the room and heading back, dig up the Clover being highlighted by the Aura of Light to the left of the entrance. The sun will raise the water level, flooding the ship. In the next room, move the camera to highlight the hole in the ceiling and use your brush to draw in a Sunrise. You'll have to use Rao's Prayer Slips to open up a sealed door before continuing up the stairs. When the enemies are defeated, continue to the north. The enemies won't take damage at first, but repeated smashings should knock off their shells, revealing their vulnerable cores. The hall opens to a room with a stack of bones and two new enemies, Jiro and Saburo. Avoid the spikes to avoid getting poked by an ejecting bamboo rods. Turn north and move through a hall with a bunch of spikes poking out from the ground and walls. You can open the two chests in the center for items, though watch out for enemies that appear from inside the other chests if you attempt to unlock them. Head up the stairs and use the Prayer Slips to vanquish the floating apparitions that haunt the hall.Īt the top of the stairs, drop down into the open space below. At her request, connect her hand of Prayer Slips with the seal on the door to break the seal, giving you access beyond. Once inside, Rao will show up as a cutscene takes over. The waters should part, letting you jump down to board the ship through the hole to the right. Return to the small tower on the peninsula overlooking the sunken ship and use the Crescent brush technique to call out the moon (if you haven't yet, you'll need to purchase the Holy Eagle technique from the sensei in the area). Head south, back through the commoners' quarter of Sei-an and out to the Ryoshima Coast. Agree and she'll ask you to meet her out by the sunken ship at night. Speak with Rao a few times until she asks you to help her out. Grab the Prayer Slips, then head back to Rao's place. Just to the right of these guards is a small crack in the wall, and next to the crack is the set of Prayer Slips Rao is missing. From here, explore the eastern edge of the city for another passage that leads to a small courtyard with two guards blocking access to the Emperor. Rao will say something about needing your help, but then complain that she's missing her Prayer Slips.Ĭontinue north into the aristocratic quarter of the city. Keep speaking with her until Issun urges you to show off your powers-use a brush technique (we used Galestorm) to show Rao that Amaterasu is for real. You can cut in line and go inside to speak with the priestess Rao. Reel it in for three Power Slashes to capture the fish, convincing Benkei to raise the bridge that leads into the city.įurther north is a line waiting in front of a large building. The third fish you hook will be the legendary living sword. Offer him the rod, then speak with Benkei to start fishing. You'll need the Blinding Snow fishing rod to help out Benkei. To the north you'll find Benkei, a man that's searching for a sword to complete his collection.
